# Privacy and AI sharing

> Know which records leave Geldee, which provider receives them and what revocation can stop.

## Public documentation

These pages explain the product and integrations. They do not load your financial records, bank credentials or authenticated session.

## Financial records

Geldee's financial database is hosted in the European Union. Access follows your workspace and household permissions. Public documentation hosting is separate from financial-record storage.

## Built-in AI

Geldee's optional built-in assistant uses relevant financial context to answer questions through its configured AI provider. Core spending, bill and wealth tracking does not require an external agent connection.

## Your chosen assistant

Connecting an external assistant sends permitted results to that assistant's provider under its own processing and retention terms. Processing may occur outside the EU. A local connector does not keep a cloud model's processing local.

You choose read areas, accounts, expiry and any separate proposal or editing permission. Hiding amounts in the app does not reduce an explicitly authorized external connection.

## Disconnecting

Revocation stops future access. It cannot remove information already returned to an AI provider, an earlier conversation, an export or model memory. Use the provider's own controls for retained information.
