# Permission reference

> Exact permission names, read dependencies and account restrictions, generated from Geldee’s current contract.

Permissions are generated from the same choices used by Geldee. Each request still checks the actual authorization. [Read how access works](https://docs.geldee.com/ai/permissions.md).

## Read access

| Permission | What it covers | Account restriction | Required reads |

| `snapshot:read` | **Money overview.** Summarized income, spending, balances, wealth and goals. | All accounts | None beyond this permission |
| `trends:read` | **Spending trends.** Monthly category totals and how complete the records are. | All accounts | None beyond this permission |
| `months:read` | **Monthly summaries.** Recorded income and spending for a selected month. | All accounts | None beyond this permission |
| `recurring:read` | **Bills and subscriptions.** Saved bills, contracts and upcoming obligations. Detected charge names need Transaction details. | All accounts | None beyond this permission |
| `wealth:read` | **Asset and debt details.** Individual values, source names, terms and recorded valuation history. | All accounts | None beyond this permission |
| `transactions:read` | **Transaction details.** Descriptions, notes, dates, amounts, categories, splits and trips. May include people's names. | Selected accounts supported; action-specific restrictions still apply | None beyond this permission |
| `accounts:read` | **Accounts.** Account names, balances, dated balance history and bank connection health. | Selected accounts supported; action-specific restrictions still apply | None beyond this permission |

## Direct editing

## Proposals

| Permission | What it covers | Account restriction | Required reads |

| `changes:propose` | **Propose changes.** Submit an exact before-and-after proposal. Every proposal needs your approval in Geldee. | Selected accounts supported; action-specific restrictions still apply | Depends on the proposed change |

Selecting all reads never grants proposals or editing. The legacy `changes:write` value provides no editing authority and is not offered as a permission.
