# Quickstart

> Start with an existing Geldee account, add records, and review your first spending picture.

**1. Sign in**

Open [Geldee](https://app.geldee.com/signin) with your admitted account. An invitation to a household gives you the role selected by its owner. Public self-service signup is not available.

**2. Add your records**

Import a supported statement or use an available bank connection in Settings. Bank availability depends on the provider and the access enabled for your account. Complete any bank sign-in in the bank's own flow.

**3. Review what was imported**

Check the account, dates, categories and items in Review. Transfers, refunds, reporting splits and payments assigned to another month affect the final spending picture.

**4. Explore your money**

Open Spending for recorded activity, Bills for expected payments, and Wealth for assets and debts. Check source dates before treating a figure as current.

## Add AI when you want it

Core tracking does not require an external AI connection. Workspace owners can [connect their chosen assistant](https://docs.geldee.com/ai/quickstart.md) when agent access is available.

Start with:

```text theme={null}
What financial information can you access? Check the record coverage and
source dates, then explain what you can reliably tell me about my spending.
```

[Understand financial data quality](https://docs.geldee.com/product/data-quality.md) before using incomplete records for a comparison.
