# Review a month

> A read-only workflow for explaining one month without overstating incomplete evidence.

## Ask the question

Review last month's recorded spending. Check the month coverage first.
Explain the main categories and any changes the evidence supports.
Separate facts from estimates and list anything I need to review in Geldee.
Do not change records.

## Agent workflow

1. Call `whoami`, inspect available tools and check setup evidence.
2. Use `get_month` for the requested calendar month. Do not replace it with an arbitrary sum of raw transactions.
3. Read its coverage and eligibility result. Describe partial records as partial.
4. If permitted and useful, inspect supporting transactions with an exact date range. Read every page before claiming all matches.
5. Use `get_trend` only when the requested comparison is supported by its returned coverage. Do not replace missing months with zero.

## A useful answer includes

The exact period, recorded totals when available, the main supported observations, source or coverage limits and the next action for unresolved evidence. It should not promise a safe-to-spend amount when the required evidence is unavailable.
