# Troubleshooting

> Resolve authentication, missing tools, incomplete results and rejected changes without exposing secrets.

| What you see | What to check |
| - | - |
| Sign-in denied | Use an admitted account and act as the owner in your own workspace. |
| Connector added, but no reads | Complete browser consent and enable Geldee in the conversation. Verify `whoami`. |
| A tool is missing | Inspect granted scopes and account selection. Whole-workspace tools are unavailable with selected-account grants. |
| Permission added, still denied | Reconnect when the existing OAuth authorization does not include the new permission. |
| Missing or null amounts | Check record coverage and source dates. Missing evidence is not zero. |
| Results stop early | Follow every continuation cursor with the same filters. |
| Bank information is old | Review bank status and consent in Geldee. The agent cannot refresh or reconnect it. |
| Edit preview rejected | Check the exact editing area, its read dependencies, account selection and current records. |
| Apply rejected after preview | Obtain a fresh preview if the request, records or authorization changed or the preview expired. |
| Rate limit or temporary failure | Respect retry guidance. Avoid repeated parallel retries. |

## Reconnect safely

Use the hosted address `https://mcp.geldee.com/mcp`. Complete OAuth in the browser. Never replace the flow by posting bank credentials, cookies or access tokens in a conversation.

## Ask for help

Send the client name and version, approximate time and time zone, the action you tried and a redacted error code. Do not include access tokens, authorization codes, private statement files or returned financial data.
