# Connect your AI

> Use your chosen assistant with Geldee through an authenticated, permission-controlled MCP connection.

## What it can do

Read the financial areas you allow: summaries, transactions, accounts, bills, assets, debts, budgets, goals, rules and saved context. Available tools depend on your actual permissions and account selection.

Read access does not authorize proposals or direct editing. Those are [separate choices](https://docs.geldee.com/ai/permissions.md). No mode can transfer money, pay a bill, trade, connect a bank or refresh a provider.

## Where your information goes

Returned records reach your chosen AI provider. This connection does not make a Geldee request to its built-in AI provider. Local connector software does not keep a cloud assistant's processing on your computer.
