# Manage or disconnect

> Reduce access, change accounts or stop future access from an AI connection.

**1. Open the connection**

In [Settings → Connect your AI](https://app.geldee.com/settings#ai), choose the connected app to open Manage access.

**2. Reduce or remove access**

Change permissions, account selection or expiry and save. To end access, choose Disconnect and confirm.

**3. Check the result**

Confirm the changed or ended connection in Geldee. An assistant's old conversation may still contain previously returned records.

## What revocation means

Revocation stops future authorized access. It cannot retrieve information already delivered to an AI provider or remove earlier conversations, exports or model memories. Use that provider's controls for retained information.

Disconnecting an AI client does not disconnect a bank or delete your Geldee records.

## Shared ChatGPT and Dots access

ChatGPT and Dots share the same authorization. Changing or disconnecting that connection affects both.

## Reconnect

Reconnect through browser consent after expiry, revocation or adding permissions beyond the current authorization. Reconnection does not create a Geldee account or bypass admission.
