# Codex

> Add Geldee to Codex through remote MCP, complete OAuth, and verify access.

**1. Add the server**

Run this on the computer where you use Codex:

```bash theme={null}
codex mcp add geldee --url https://mcp.geldee.com/mcp
```

**2. Sign in**

```bash theme={null}
codex mcp login geldee
```

Complete the browser sign-in in Geldee. Review the workspace, permissions, selected accounts, expiry and sharing consent.

**3. Verify configuration**

```bash theme={null}
codex mcp list
```

Open or refresh the Codex session as needed, then ask it to call `whoami` and inspect the available tools. A configured server entry alone does not establish authorized access.

```text First task theme={null}
Use Geldee in read-only mode. Check my authorized permissions, account
selection and record coverage. Explain the available evidence and make no changes.
```

Codex's model or subscription costs are separate from the Geldee connection. For current MCP configuration, see [official Codex documentation](https://developers.openai.com/codex/mcp).

Manage permissions and disconnect from [Geldee Settings](https://docs.geldee.com/ai/disconnect.md).
